Captains' Charity Texas Scramble

Many thanks to all those who brought raffle prizes and bought raffle tickets, and those who also made extra monetary donations for the day, and members who bid for fourballs in the auction.

It was great to have 19 teams of four, who were able to take part on the day, thank you.

The Nearest the pins were won by:

3rd - Lyn White, 8th - Tony Fittock, 11th - Lyndsey Bishop, 13th - Levi Nash.

The long putt competition was won by Henry Dow, and the 100 Yd challenge, pitch and putt was won by Levi Nash.

The Overall Winners were:  Paul Wareing, Lynne Southgate, Phil Reeve, and Barney de Beer, with an amazing nett 49  

Second Best Chosen Team was won by:  Adam Forsyth, Wesley Forsyth, Alfie Macklin, and Steve Macklin with a nett 50.

Unfortunately they were unable to stay for the presentation.

The Best Drawn team were: Richard Horslen, Helen Kane, Peta Keen, and Margaret Somerville, also with an amazing nett 50.

Thanks to Jackie Skinner for her help on the day with selling raffle tickets and co-hosting the Halfway House; thanks to Tony for running the putting competition; and to Abi for entering all the scorecards. 

Special thanks to Kerry, Debz, Suzette and all the catering staff for making the day such a success, keeping us supplied with delicious food and drinks.

Thanks also to Sharon for securing all the MND Association decorations, from Paul our local MND representative, and also to Lauren for taking them all down, without bursting as many balloons as occurred before the event even started!
