Society of Lady Captains of Essex Golf Clubs

In the penultimate meeting of the season, 36 ladies from 19 clubs across Essex played on the South Course at The Rayleigh Club. The reworked bunkers provided an additional challenge and the recent rainfall meant the ball wasn't running quite as much. It turned out to be a beautiful day with impressive views from some of the high spots on the course. After the golf the ladies were treated to a delicious salmon or vegetarian meal followed by chocolate fudge cake.

Mel Lewis (Burnham on Crouch) & Lynn Anderson (Colne Valley) with a very impressive score of 43 points.

In the last meeting of the season, at Langdon Hills on 2nd October, Lesley Knight came 3rd. Well Done Lesley.
