Her opponent was from Play Golf, Lexden, and it was always going to be a tough match with Lesley only receiving 2 shots. The first three holes were halved then Lesley went 2 down but her short game skills put her opponent under pressure with Lesley sinking some amazing putts and by the end of the first nine the match was all square again. There was nothing between them on the first few holes of the back nine, then her opponent suddenly stepped up her game on the 14th and Lesley had some very unlucky bounces on the hard fairways. Her opponent then had a chip in plus a long bunker shot putting it to a couple of feet from the pin. So sadly Lesley lost on the 16th hole.
What an amazing performance to get to the County final, we are all so proud of you Lesley, congratulations and very well done.
