Harris Bowl

The Harris Bowl Team, namely Angie Waite, Lesley Knight, Jila Bellamy, Karen Biggin and Claire Cosgrove, played their first match of the season away at Colchester on Friday 10th May.

All matches were played in good spirit on a lovely sunny afternoon.  Karen and Claire both finished early having secured convincing wins of 4 & 3 with Jila winning on the 17th 2 & 1.

Lesley, all square coming off the 17th,  went down the 18th and didn't disappoint giving the Colne Valley Team a 4-1 win.  

As always, a big thank you to our caddies, Jane Tytler, Marion Gaught, Pam Hazlewood, Lyndsey Bishop and Sue Gilbert for their contribution; it's so appreciated.

Thank you also to Claire Wheeler and Sue Drysdale for coming over to Colchester to give their support.  

Our next match is at home on Saturday 18th May against Orsett.
