Bronze Match vs The Essex

The Bronze team played away today away to The Essex. The game was played in wind and rain, not great conditions for the 31st May!
Our leader Kajsa came in with a win of 6-4 and Lynne Southgate, with an astounding win of 7-6. Sue Gilbert & Jan Edwards put up a good fight but lost their games. We were all waiting on Elaine Gilbert to finish on the 18th and she managed a half, so an even result was all we needed to go through to the quarter finals. Well done to you all, plus caddy’s, Claire W, Amanda, Karen our Captain, Jila and Judith.
Our last game is being played Wednesday against Rochford at home and we wish you another great game ladies.
